One person is dead after a fiery crash in northeast Houston

Investigators said that they were called to a three-car crash on Bennington Street near the Eastex freeway around 7 p.m. On Saturday night.

Houston Police said that when they arrived, they found a pickup truck had flipped over and caught on fire.

Officers said that one person was taken to Ben Taub Hospital where they later died. It is unclear what vehicle the victim was in.

This is an ongoing investigation.
